EV charging infrastructure boost: JSW MG Motor partners with Shell
To improve the nation’s public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, JSW MG Motor has joined hands with Shell India.
Customers of JSW MG Motor India will benefit from the cooperation by having access to Shell's extensive nationwide network of gasoline stations for car charging.
JSW MG Motor stated in a statement that Shell India would install CCS 50kW and 60kW DC fast chargers at different places across India in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening the EV charging network and enabling long-distance travel for EV consumers.
Chief Growth Officer of JSW MG Motor India Gaurav Gupta stated, "Our collaboration with Shell India underlines our shared commitment to sustainable mobility that will help accelerate EV adoption across the country."
According to him, the infrastructure development would facilitate fast-charging EV facilities and make it easier for EV owners to schedule hassle-free long-distance travel.
According to Sanjay Varkey, Director of Shell India Markets, the cooperation plan is to use digital integration and customer-centric activities to support the country's wider adoption of electric automobiles.
