Chinese EV giant BYD (Build Your Dreams) has made history by becoming the first automaker in the world to produce 13 million electric vehicles (EVs), further solidifying its position as the No.1 global EV brand, surpassing competitors like Tesla and Volkswagen.
The 13th million EV, a luxury Yangwang U7, rolled off BYD’s production line on July 21, 2025, marking a major milestone in the evolution of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs).
