Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
- BMW i7 50 xDrive EV: Equipped with a 112.5 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 455 hp (461 PS) and 660 Nm. It achieves 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and offers an extended WLTP driving range of up to 728 km (a 125 km improvement over its predecessor).
- BMW i7 M70 xDrive EV: Positioned as the most powerful 7 Series ever produced, this variant generates 680 hp (689 PS) and 1,015 Nm of torque, which increases to 1,100 Nm with Launch Control or Sport Boost. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, and delivers a claimed WLTP range of up to 686 km.
Charging Capabilities
The 2026 BMW i7 supports 250 kW DC fast charging, allowing the 112.5 kWh battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes. A 10-minute fast charge can add up to 235 km of driving range.
For home charging, a 22 kW AC Wallbox charger is included with installation, capable of completing a 0–100% charge in approximately 6 hours.
