Audi India Scales EV Charging Network to 6,500+ Points with ‘Charge My Audi’ Phase II
Audi India has announced a major expansion in its electric vehicle charging infrastructure under Phase II of its ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative, taking the total count to 6,500+ EV charging points across the country. This move reinforces the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility and positions it as a leader in the luxury EV segment in India.
Key Highlights:
- 5,500+ new charging points added under Phase II
- Network now spans 28 states and UTs, 850+ cities, and 4,700+ locations
- 75% of stations offer DC fast charging for reduced charging time
- 16 new EV infrastructure partners onboarded
- Free charging for Audi e-tron customers extended until December 31, 2025
Boosting Long-Distance Travel & Daily EV Commutes
The new charging stations are strategically located along major highways, urban centers, and commercial hubs. With most of these equipped with DC fast-charging capabilities, Audi e-tron users can now enjoy faster, more convenient EV travel—whether it’s a weekend road trip or daily city commute.
The brand’s collaboration with 16 new ChargePoint Operators (CPOs), including Shell India, Adani Total Energies, Statiq, Charge Zone, and Gentari, strengthens its pan-India reach and ensures that Audi customers have charging support wherever they go.
Smart Charging via ‘myAudi Connect’ App
The ‘Charge My Audi’ platform is powered by Numocity Technology’s eMSP and integrated within the ‘myAudi Connect’ app. This enables real-time features such as:
- Live charger availability
- Route planning with charging stops
- One-click start/stop charging
Audi has prioritized user convenience, giving e-tron owners a seamless digital interface to manage their charging on the go.
Complimentary Charging Extended
As a value-add, Audi India has extended free charging access to all e-tron customers until December 31, 2025, at all partner stations under the ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative.
Aligning with Audi’s Vision for Sustainable Luxury
This expansion builds on the success of Phase I, which introduced destination charging hubs and pre-route charger mapping. Audi’s robust infrastructure push follows a stellar 2024, in which the brand celebrated 100,000 cars on Indian roads and ran its widely recognized ‘100 Days of Celebration’ campaign.
“Establishing a robust EV charging network is crucial for accelerating electric mobility in India. With 6,500+ charging points and an emphasis on DC fast chargers, we’re committed to enhancing convenience and accessibility for all our customers,” said Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India.
Why This Matters for EV Buyers in India
As India’s EV ecosystem rapidly evolves, charging infrastructure is often a key concern for potential buyers. Audi’s initiative directly addresses range anxiety and sets a benchmark for luxury EV ownership in the country.
Whether you're an existing e-tron owner or considering a premium electric vehicle, Audi’s growing EV ecosystem makes the switch to electric more practical, accessible, and future-ready.
