's next family-friendly electric scooter have been released. The company has planned to launch the vehicle at ACDC 24 - Ather Community Day Celebration 2024, according to the tweet by Tarun Mehta, CEO of Ather.

Breaking the news, the CEO stated “With Rizta, we will be taking a big leap in comfort and safety. Our teams have been working on this for a while (this one has been on and off the table since 2019!) now and have pulled off some amazing integrations that are industry-first and will make your ride experience way better.”

The Ather Rizta which has been seen in testing before is going to have a flat apron, much like the test mule. In comparison to the current 450 range, its side panels have very few cuts and wrinkles. Inside the front panel, its LED lamp is integrated horizontally. The format of the taillight is also the same. The next Ather Rizta is expected to have a larger floorboard space than the 450X.

The Ather Rizta is anticipated to take inspiration from the 450 bloodline for its features, motor, and batteries. For comparison, Ather provides a 2.9kWh battery for the 450S and two different battery options (2.9kWh and 3.7kWh) for the 450X. The maximum speed for both variants is 90 kmph. But the 450S has a range of just 115 km, while the 450X 2.9kWh and 450X 3.7kWh have a range of 111 km and 150 km, respectively.

Additionally, the Ather Rizta should receive the 450S's Deep View display. This will assist Ather in controlling the expenses. In addition, the next Ather EV could have a smartphone connection, numerous screen readouts, and riding modes.

Ather might charge around Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Rizta electric scooter. It will compete with the TVS iQube line.
