ATCL and Zivah establishes solar-powered fast EV charging station and battery-swapping facility

AICTSL Board Chairman and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav with Malini Gaud opened a fast vehicle charging station for the public, near Vishram Bagh, Indore.

Opting for a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach, Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) and Zivah International Pvt Ltd jointly operate the solar-powered charging station. This facility provides both rapid and slow charging options for two-, three-, and four-wheelers. Fast charging will cost drivers Rs 18 per unit, while slow charging will cost them Rs 15.

With two chargers that can service up to five automobiles at once, the station guarantees quick service for users. In addition, the state-of-the-art battery-swapping station will be equipped with 8 batteries

For electric vehicle owners, the quick one-minute swap and easy recharge provide a new degree of ease and comfort

The entire facility is monitored by CCTV around the clock to guarantee security. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav discussed the city's dedication to supporting green initiatives and adopting renewable energy sources during her remarks during the inauguration. Such projects have the potential to transform urban transit and lower the city's carbon footprint, making Indore a cleaner city, according to MLA Malini Gaud.
