Greaves Electric Mobility has officially expanded its electric scooter portfolio in India with the launch of the Ampere Magnus Grand Max. Positioned as a practical family scooter, the new model hits the market with an aggressive introductory price of Rs 94,999 (ex showroom).
Also referred to as the Magnus G Max on some platforms, this new EV aims to compete in the sub Rs 1 lakh segment by offering a robust battery pack, significant storage space, and safety focused LFP technology.
Ampere Magnus Grand Max: Battery and Range
The biggest highlight of the new Magnus Grand Max is its powertrain. It is equipped with a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery. LFP batteries are becoming increasingly popular in the Indian market due to their thermal stability and safety compared to standard NMC batteries.
