Ajay Dhiman Steps Down as SVP of Operations at Revolt Motors

In a notable leadership development within India’s electric mobility sector, Ajay Dhiman has resigned as Senior Vice President of Operations at Revolt Motors, the flagship electric motorcycle brand under RattanIndia Enterprises.

Dhiman, who joined the company in April 2023, played a key role in leading Revolt’s manufacturing, operations, R&D, and supply chain initiatives. His leadership came during a crucial growth phase as Revolt Motors expanded its EV footprint across India.

“It’s been a transformative journey at Revolt Motors. I’m grateful to have contributed to the company’s operational scale-up and to India's push toward clean mobility,” Dhiman stated in a LinkedIn update. “Looking forward to new challenges and opportunities.”

Leadership Transition During Strategic Expansion

Ajay Dhiman brought over two decades of experience from renowned automotive players such as Honda Cars India and Honda Japan, where he honed his expertise in operations and mobility solutions. At Revolt, he was instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and aligning product delivery with market expectations.

His departure comes at a critical time when Revolt Motors is executing its aggressive dealership expansion strategy, targeting 400 touchpoints by FY26 and pushing into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company also marked its global debut with entry into Sri Lanka, with Nepal expected to follow shortly.

What This Means for Revolt and the EV Sector

As Dhiman exits, Revolt Motors is expected to maintain its expansion momentum with a focus on increasing production capacity and improving its electric motorcycle ecosystem. The company has been capitalising on the surging demand for EV two-wheelers amid supportive government policies, rising fuel costs, and growing environmental awareness.

Leadership changes like this are pivotal as electric two-wheeler brands mature from startups into scale-oriented enterprises. Revolt Motors will now aim to strengthen its leadership pipeline to stay competitive in the booming EV motorcycle segment.
