140-170km range in Rs 5.99 Lakh: Euler launches world’s first EV mini truck–Turbo EV 1000

Euler Motor has launched the world’s first mini EV truck, the Euler Turbo EV 1000, starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.99 Lakh.

The company claims that the mini truck can save up to Rs 1.15 Lakhs as compared to its diesel counterpart.

The vehicle will be the first eCV in the 1 T segment that claims a range of 140-170 km. The vehicle has 140 Nm torque and a 230 mm Disc Brake built on the R13 Wheel Platform.

Sweetening the deal, the Euler Turbo EV 1000 will get the CCS 2 fast charging feature, which can juice up your mini truck in just 15 minutes to travel 50 km.

The vehicle will come up in three variants, including city, Fast Charge, and Maxx. The city variant will cost you Rs 5,99,999, while the Fast Charge and Maxx variant comes at an ex-showroom price of  Rs 7,19,999 and Rs 8,19,999, respectively.

With various financing options that start with a Rs 49,999 down payment and EMIs as low as Rs 10,000 per month, Euler claims to make the truck affordable for both fleet operators and small companies.

The truck's innovative thermal management system includes liquid cooling for some variants and is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack incorporated into the chassis. The battery has a capacity of 15.36kWh to 19.2kWh with a nominal voltage of 76.8V (City) and 320V (Fast Charge, Maxx).

With a top speed of 70 kmph in Thunder mode, the Turbo EV 1000 strikes a mix between functionality and performance. The vehicle gets a 3.3kW AC in-built charger that can charge your EV from 4 to 5.5 hours. Moreover, to provide dependable operation even under difficult circumstances, it also has regenerative braking, front disc brakes with a rear drum arrangement, and IP67 water and dust protection.

The Euler Tubro EV will come with nine segment-first features, including bezel-free projector headlamps with 50% more luminous intensity for better night vision, laser-welded battery modules with thermally conductive adhesive for increased durability, and a sophisticated steering system with a telescopic intermediate shaft to lessen shocks on uneven roads.

The vehicle will also feature Hill Hold Assist and Vehicle Tracking System to ensure additional safety.

Citing Saurva Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors, India Today reported, "We are proud to launch the Turbo EV 1000, which marks the meeting of engineering innovation with the real-world needs of India’s logistics industry. By offering both affordability and performance, we believe this will be an inflexion point for EV adoption in the commercial vehicle space. With GST reforms, national transport policies, and growing fleet demand, the Turbo EV 1000 comes at the right time to drive India’s transition to sustainable mobility."
