DeltaEV's expertise in powertrain development plays a pivotal role in the KM5000's impressive performance. Their extensive experience in crafting energy-efficient EV charging solutions, including AC chargers, DC quick chargers, and Site Management Systems, translates to exceptional power delivery and efficiency in the KM5000. Delta's high-performance chargers boast efficiency levels of up to 94%, ensuring minimal energy loss during the charging process. Additionally, their products adhere to stringent global safety certifications, guaranteeing the safety of both riders and infrastructure. This collaborative effort, bringing together Kabira Mobility's design and manufacturing prowess with DeltaEV's powertrain expertise, has resulted in the creation of an unparalleled electric vehicle in terms of performance. 

The KM5000 is equipped with an 11.6 kWh water-cooled battery pack, a significant contributor to its extended range. For added convenience, Kabira Mobility offers two charging options: a high-speed charger capable of delivering an 80% charge in under two hours and a standard charger suitable for overnight charging.

The Kabira Mobility electric bikes are not just about speed and range; the company prioritises durability as well. The motorcycle is meticulously crafted with premium hardware, including an inverted Showa fork and a Nitrox monoshock suspension setup. This combination ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, even on uneven road surfaces.  Furthermore, the KM5000 features a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. This advanced braking system enhances rider safety by preventing wheel lockup during hard braking or slippery conditions.

Kabira Mobility electric vehicles recognise the importance of a rider-centric design. The KM5000 incorporates a sleek seven-inch touchscreen digital dashboard equipped with 4G connectivity. Additionally, the digital display provides real-time battery health data and a smart diagnostics feature that allows riders to monitor the overall health of their motorcycle. The KM5000 is available in three stylish colour options – Midnight Grey, Deep Khaki, and Aquamarine catering to diverse rider preferences.

Safety First: Unwavering Commitment to Rider Protection

Kabira Mobility prioritises rider safety by integrating a comprehensive suite of safety features into the KM5000. These features include a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to alert riders of potential punctures, a side step for added convenience and stability when mounting and dismounting the motorcycle, and park assist with a reverse mode for easy manoeuvring in tight spaces. The KM5000 also incorporates fall sensors that can detect a potential accident and trigger emergency response protocols. Furthermore, an elevation stabiliser ensures optimal performance on varying terrains, while the LED projector headlamp with a ring-shaped DRL and LED tail light enhances visibility for both the rider and other road users.  

Looking Beyond the Horizon

While the official launch of the KM5000 is yet to be announced, the pre-launch buzz surrounding this innovative electric motorcycle is a testament to Kabira Mobility's commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility. This dedication to innovation extends beyond the KM5000. In 2022, the company commenced mass production of its existing KM3000 and KM4000 series e-bikes at their expansive 150,000-square-foot "Green Factory" situated in Dharwad, Karnataka. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a scalable capacity of up to 40,000 units per month, serving as Kabira Mobility's national manufacturing hub to cater to the burgeoning demand within the Indian market. Following this success, the company has exhibited a relentless pursuit of innovation. A prime illustration of this commitment is their B2B segment product, the Hermes 75.
