Servotech Power Systems, an EV charger manufacturer, has received a contract from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) to install 11 DC rapid EV charging stations. The update calls for Servotech to install public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 11 Regional Transport Office (RTO) locations throughout Karnataka to improve the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and make it easier for EV owners to charge their vehicles in different parts of the state. Servotech will take charge of the complete project lifecycle, from planning and design to final installation. This will involve creating a comprehensive plan for installing EV charging stations at each RTO location while assuring optimal placement and capacity.&nbsp;The company will manufacture, build and test high-quality charging stations according to the stringent safety and performance requirements. In addition, Servotech will provide warranty support and manage all electrical connections and power supply arrangements. Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems, stated, "We are building our green footprints in every state and region of India. With recent collaborations with ANERT and now BESCOM, our strong ambition to create an EV charging framework becomes stronger by the day, and we intend to expand our footprint in the future by cooperating with more Nodal Agencies and DISCOMs. Our efficient hardware and software solutions will enable dependable EV charging stations, responding to the rising demand for sustainable transportation choices.”

Tata Motor on Monday signals its intention to launch the electric version of its affordable mid-range car–Tata Nano. The vehicle is expected to launch at a price range of Rs 20 to 25 Lakhs, according to reports.&nbsp; As per the reports, Tata intends to give a makeover to its old Nano by releasing a petrol + CNG version and a complete electric version of its car. The Tata Nano EV is a compact car in terms of design measuring 3164 mm in length, 1750 mm in width, 2230 mm between the two axles, and 180 mm at the lowest point to the ground.&nbsp; The automobile can easily accommodate four people because of its seating size. Tata Motors is expected to offer the Nano EV with an infotainment system, Bluetooth, six speakers, power steering, electric windows, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake distribution (ABD), and a 7-inch touchscreen. Along with the many other high-tech features complementing driving, the Tata Nano EV is also expected to have several safety measures. In terms of power and durability, the Tata Nano's electric model features a 17 kWh battery. On a full charge, this vehicle is believed to be capable of travelling 300 km. According to reports, the next edition of the Tata Nano will be completely new, powerful, and distinct. Although the car's top speed is listed as 80 km/h, it can reach 100 km/h in less than ten seconds.

The G-Class sedan's cabin is the same as that of the petrol and diesel versions, and it has a plush interior with two 12.3-inch digital screens, an upgraded voice assistant, and optional packages for premium sound and rear-seat entertainment. The Mercedes-Benz G 580 EV is equipped with a quad-motor all-wheel-drive electric drivetrain, meaning that each wheel is powered by its own motor. With the help of a 116 kWh under-floor battery pack, this arrangement produces an amazing 579 horsepower and 1,164 Nm of torque. Mercedes promises a 473 km range on a single charge and a 4.7 second 0–100 kmph acceleration time, with a 180 kmph maximum speed. Fast charging up to 200 kW DC and up to 11 kW AC are supported by the car, allowing for a 10 to 80 per cent charge in around 32 minutes. The famed off-road capabilities of the G 580 are retained even with its electric drivetrain. It has a torque vectoring technology that replicates how internal combustion models' locking differentials work. When in the 'Rock' off-road driving mode, the SUV also has a 'low range' option for extremely difficult off-road conditions. The G 580 is notable for introducing G-Turn, which enables on-the-spot 360-degree tank manoeuvres, and G-Steering, which enhances manoeuvrability at low speeds. The G 580 EV has an 850 mm fording depth and a 26 mm thick, 57.6 kg skid plate to protect important parts during off-road excursions. With a side slope capacity of up to 35 degrees, the approach and departure angles are, respectively, 32 and 30.7 degrees. Later this year, the all-electric Mercedes-Benz G 580 is scheduled to go on sale in international countries, with ambitions to eventually make its way to India. Combining the distinctive G-Class design with an advanced electric drivetrain and off-road capabilities, this vehicle marks a substantial advancement in electric SUV technology and is an appealing choice for both eco-conscious drivers and enthusiasts.

The information released on the web states that, when the verification procedure is complete, the banking partner would transfer the subsidy amount to the customer's bank account within three working days. Who may apply for the UP Government's EV Subsidy Programme?&nbsp; On the purchase of any single car across all vehicle classes, individual recipients (buyers) will be qualified for EV subsidies. However, aggregators or operators of fleets (buyers) will also be allowed to obtain purchase subsidies. This will allow a unit to collect subsidies for up to 10 cars across vehicle classes. <h2> </h2><h2>How much subsidy can you get?</h2> The amount of the subsidy will be 50% of the overall incentive for buyers of EVs without batteries. Currently, the subsidy can be given at any moment.&nbsp; Two-wheelers: For the first two lakh orders, the subsidy for two-wheeler electric vehicles would be Rs 5,000 per car, up to 15% of the ex-factory cost. Four-wheelers: For the first 25,000 purchases of four-wheeler electric vehicles, the subsidy will be up to 15% of the ex-factory price or Rs 1 lakh per vehicle. Electric buses: The first 400 non-government e-buses will receive a subsidy of up to 15% of the ex-factory cost, or Rs 20 lakh per vehicle. E-goods transporters: The first 1000 e-goods transporters would each receive a vehicle subsidy of Rs. 1 lakh.
