Tata
has said that by the end of the next year, it will expand its EV showrooms significantly, covering the majority of tier 1 and tier 2 cities. At present the nation has 97 tier 2 and 8 tier 1 cities. These areas now account for the majority of EV demand, so it seems reasonable that Tata would concentrate its efforts here before experimenting in smaller cities.Tata will also open specialised service facilities for its EV line as part of the development. This should make it possible for many of the new showrooms to instantly become 3S(sales service and spare) hubs.
On December 21, the automaker officially inaugurated its first two EV dealerships in Gurugram. Compared to ICE showrooms, these spaces are entirely different in terms of layout and decor. Tata has also said that it would run entirely without paper and will use a new criterion for choosing staff for these showrooms. Its current lineup includes the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and Nexon EV. In 2024–2025, the Harrier/Safari EV, Punch EV, Sierra EV, and Curvv EV will all join this.
