The real estate developer Prateek Group has joined hands with Incharz, a division of Servitech Power Systems for the development of e-charging stations at their locations in the Delhi-NCR area. The deal was inked by Sunil Kumar Mittal, on Wednesday in Noida, President of Prateek Group, and Prem Prakash, CEO of Incharz, Servitech Power Systems said in a statement on Thursday. Under the terms of the deal, Incharz is responsible for designing, supplying, installing, commissioning, running, and maintaining the EV charging stations in Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region), while Prateek Group would facilitate the locations for public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. "Our effective hardware and software solutions will ensure dependable EV charging stations," stated Prakash, CEO of Incharz. HE further said, “By introducing EV charging to apartment and business buildings, we are popularising EVs and assisting EV owners in finding charging stations”. Servotech Power Systems is a publicly traded company that creates solar and EV charging technologies with technological capabilities.

The policy planning commission also recommended supporting lab-to-market commercialization of products in its report, "Mine to market: critical minerals supply chain for domestic value addition in lithium-ion battery manufacturing." It also recommended encouraging R&amp;D for earth-abundant alternatives to critical minerals used in ACC (Advanced Carbon Composite) batteries. It has also advised creating hubs for the industrialization of technologies and demonstration projects, as well as startup incubators. By 2030, the paper estimates that India's advanced chemistry cell manufacturing sector would require about 193,000 tonnes per year of cathode active material to create 100 GWh of batteries. According to cathode chemistry and supply chain expenses for mining and refining crucial minerals, "Critical minerals and their active elements used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries (LIB) make up approximately 33%-48% of the total LIB pack cost," it was said further.
