Charging, Test Drives all at one place: Gentari Green Mobility unveils 'Gentari Go' app

Gentari Green Mobility India on Tuesday declared the launch of their all-new Gentari Go app, marking a significant update in India’s sustainable automobile sector. The app’s software incorporates a number of clean energy options, such as residential solar energy systems and green transportation programs.

Underlining the company's dedication to reaching net-zero emissions, Gentari's Country Head for India, Navjit Gill stated, “Our top goal is to work together with partners, clients, and governments to reach net zero. Today’s launch of the Gentari Go app and the new alliances we've formed demonstrates our dedication to developing renewable energy.”

Reportedly, the app's launch is supported by collaborations with ChargeZone, Statiq, and Numocity, which provide access to more than 1,500 EV chargers throughout India.

In highlighting the importance of the launch, Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Transportation India, said, "The Gentari Go app represents a major step in promoting green mobility and enhancing operational efficiency for businesses."

More than thirty per cent of carbon emissions in India come from the road transport industry. According to the recent goals stated by the government, India aspires to achieve 30 % of EV penetration by 2030. Aligning with the goal, Thomas said that in the upcoming years, there may be 30–40 million EVs on Indian roadways.

Further stating Thomas, CNBC reported, "Recent years have seen significant developments in the EV sector, and with supportive policies, achieving 30% adoption by 2030 is feasible."

Following the update, customers and companies can enjoy a user-friendly experience with the Gentari Go app. Moreover, to ensure fleet management, fleet operators can avail access to the wide network of public chargers, telematic support and business credits.

Operators of charging points can provide service to both B2C and B2B clients by integrating themselves with the Gentari Go roaming hub. Moreover, automakers may improve customer experiences through features like Plug & Charge, Credits, AutoCharge, and Membership Passes are examples of how automakers may improve customer experiences.

Currently, there are more than 920 EV chargers connected to Gentari Green Mobility's network across Malaysia, Thailand, and India. Through its Vehicle-As-A-Service (VaaS) program, the corporation has also deployed over 3,800 EVs in Indonesia, Malaysia, and India.
