Bengaluru applauds construction of 100th Ather Grid Fast Charging Station

The largest

electric car

rapid charging network in the city, Ather Grid, the Indian maker of electric scooters, has announced the construction of its 100th Ather Grid in Bengaluru. At Third Wave Coffee in Banashankari, the Ather Grid's 100th fast charging station was constructed. Additionally, Third Wave Coffee Roasters and Ather Energy have joined together to install fast charging stations at each of their locations across the nation.

It is also important to note that Bengaluru, which appears to be the home city of Ather Energy, is where the company's first electric car charging station was set up. The establishment of the 100th charging station in the Southern city was also celebrated by the firm as a crucial turning point in Ather Energy's development.

The Ather Grid in Bengaluru is also extremely well constructed, with four charging stations positioned along the road going to Nandi Hills, a much-liked weekend getaway spot for city dwellers. Additionally, according to Ather Energy, it has supported the charge of more than 13,000 different electric scooters, totalling 250,000 hours of charging time. Ather goes on to say that just 40 minutes are typically spent at a charging station.

The Ather 450X electric scooter can be charged to 80% of its battery capacity using an Ather Grid fast charger in approximately 50 minutes, which is a very acceptable charging time for an electric scooter.

Ather Energy Chief Business Officer Ravneet Phokela said, "Our rapidly expanding charging network is a testament to our commitment towards providing a seamless charging experience not just for the Ather community but for the EV ecosystem at large."

In order to encourage sustainable transportation, Ather Energy has partnered with a number of companies, including BESCOM, Sangeetha Mobiles, Decathlon, Metro Cash & Carry, Third Wave Coffee Roasters, HPCL, Chai Point, and Prestige Group, whose landmark UB City is one among them. The Ather Grid now has 60% of its installations in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, making it the most widely used fast-charging network for

EVs in the nation. Fast chargers in the company's charging network can charge an Ather 450X scooter up to 80% in under 50 minutes.
