VinFast Accelerates India EV Push: 24 Dealerships Operational, Targeting 35 by 2025-End

Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) powerhouse VinFast Auto is rapidly building its foundation in India, marking a major stride toward its goal of becoming a key player in the country's booming sustainable mobility market. The company has successfully launched 24 operational dealerships across major Indian metros and is on track to hit its ambitious target of 35 dealerships nationwide by the close of 2025.

Network Spans Major EV Markets

VinFast's newly opened showrooms, which adhere to its global retail standards, are strategically located in high-demand EV cities. This extensive network ensures access to VinFast's brand experience for consumers in:

• North & West : Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Nagpur, Agra, and Jaipur.

• South & East : Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Ludhiana, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda, and Rajkot.

These outlets serve as dedicated touchpoints where customers can experience the premium electric SUVs: the VinFast VF 6 and VinFast VF 7.

Local Manufacturing & Job Creation Anchor Strategy

Complementing its retail growth, the Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu manufacturing facility is the core of VinFast's long-term India strategy.

• Capacity : The 400-acre plant is designed for the local assembly of the VF 6 and VF 7, starting with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year, with scalability up to 1,50,000 units annually.

• Economic Impact : The facility is projected to create 3,000–3,500 direct jobs and generate thousands more indirect opportunities through its supply chain, positioning Tamil Nadu as a crucial EV manufacturing hub in South Asia.
