TVS Motor records 32% YoY Sales Growth with EV revenue reaching ₹1,269 Cr
Noting a 32% year-on-year overall increase, TVS Motor’s EV revenue has hit ₹1,269 crores, contributing significantly to the total sales.
Meanwhile, the company is reportedly confident in its traditional vehicle sales and projects an 8% growth in the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) segment.
TVS Motor expects an increase in sales with the increasing rural demand. According to reports, the company's scooters are outperforming the industry, indicating a strong presence in this particular market.
The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme by the Government of India has assisted TVS Motor by increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity and encouraging domestic manufacturing, especially in the expanding EV market.
Previously, the business announced ₹119.05 billion for the second quarter, its highest-ever quarterly operating revenue. This was a notable 29% year-over-year rise from ₹92.28 billion in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
TVS Motor Company achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales volume, with overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including international business, growing by 23% to reach 1.507 million units.
The company reported strong double-digit growth across all segments, driven by robust domestic demand and improving export momentum. Motorcycle sales rose 20% to 6.73 lakh units, while scooter sales jumped 30% to 6.39 lakh units. International two-wheeler sales climbed 31% to 3.63 lakh units, and three-wheeler volumes surged 41% to 53,000 units, reflecting broad-based recovery across markets.
