TVS iQube Surpasses 6 Lakh Sales in India, Eyes Global Electric Two-Wheeler Leadership

iQube’s Growth Journey: From Slow Start to Market Leader

TVS Motor Company’s flagship electric scooter, the TVS iQube, has officially crossed 600,000 unit sales in India, marking a huge milestone in the EV two-wheeler segment. What’s remarkable is the speed of its growth: while it took 52 months to sell the first 300,000 units, the next 300,000 were achieved in just 13 months — a clear reflection of rising consumer demand and brand trust in the iQube lineup.

The iQube has now topped monthly EV two-wheeler retail sales in both April and May 2025, claiming the No. 1 spot, beating fierce competitors like Ola and Ather.

Next Stop: Indonesia

Taking its electric revolution beyond Indian borders, TVS Motor has announced the launch of iQube assembly operations at its East Karawang facility in Indonesia. The e-scooter will debut at the Jakarta Fair on June 19, with local bookings set to open the same day. This strategic move targets the fast-growing Southeast Asian EV market, where urban mobility needs are rising rapidly.

What’s Driving TVS iQube's Success?

  • Affordable performance: Starting at ₹99,000, iQube offers 145 km range per charge and rapid acceleration.

  • Improved battery: Latest variants include larger battery packs and faster charging (0-80% in just 3 hours).

  • Aggressive pricing: TVS recently slashed prices by up to ₹26,000 across variants.

  • Retail expansion: Rapid growth in dealership network across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

  • Reliable technology: Powered by LFP batteries known for safety and durability.

  • Export momentum: iQube exports rose 414% YoY in FY2025, with growing traction in Nepal and now Indonesia.
