Skoda teases audience with Enyaq facelift ahead of debut
The Czech auto manufacturer Skoda, a part of Volkswagen Group is likely to facelift Enyaq. The brand previously unveiled the electric vehicle's design concepts, providing a sneak peek at the EV. The company has now unveiled another teaser image of the EV, this time revealing the front fascia while concealing all other information. Moreover, the most recent images show that the EV will have the brand's 'Modern Solid' design language, which was previously seen in the Elroq EV.
A closer look reveals that the Skoda Enyaq facelift sets itself apart from its predecessor with a split headlight arrangement. In keeping with the brand's prior design language, the vehicle's single-piece headlamp was a feature of the preceding model. Additionally, it has what the company refers to as a "Tech Deck" panel, which has four divided LED DRLs on either side. It appears like an illuminated grille with contrasting panels connects these. The bumper contains the LED matrix headlamps in the meantime.
According to the brand's earlier introduced concept, the car's rear end is anticipated to resemble its previous version. Moreover, the vehicle will receive new side skirt and rear bumper trim elements and may also have highlights of dark chrome. In addition, the EV version will come with a lettermark rather than the conventional logo.
According to the design sketches that the brand previously made public, the car's rear end is anticipated to resemble that of the previous version. The car is likely to get new trim pieces for the side skirts and a rear bumper. The car may come in dark chrome accents. In addition, the lettermark logo is used in place of the conventional logo for electric vehicles.
The top-spec 80x version of the electric vehicle has been seen in spy photos multiple times. The vehicle equipped a 77 kWh battery pack which comes with a 513 km WLTP range. A dual-motor arrangement with one motor on each axle receives this battery power, resulting in a total output of 265 horsepower. In 6.9 seconds, this EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph.
