Ola Electric teases audience with glimpses of its upcoming electric bike– Ola Roadster

Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, on Friday, released a teaser online debuting the upcoming Ola Roadster bike for the first time. The future electric bike of the electric vehicle famed company Ola Electric– Ola Roaster is scheduled to make its debut on August 15, 2024. Take a peek at this teaser. The battery pack of the upcoming e-bike seems similar to that of Ola Electric’s already-featured battery

Announcing the delivery timeline of its latest electric bike, Ola Electric expects to launch the Roadster EV in 2025. The company has released the design patent for its upcoming ride.

Reportedly, the vehicle is the first electric bike designed with the rider in mind. It has an upright riding position, a single-piece handlebar, a telescopic fork, dual shock absorbers, easy-to-reach LED lights, and a hub-mounted engine. Moreover, the vehicle will come with made-in-India in-house batteries. It is expected to perform similarly to the Revolt RV400 and a 125cc bike. The Roadster EV has a front disc and rear drum brake arrangement that controls braking, while a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers provide suspension. It is expected to have a range of around 200 km. Furthermore, the vehicle may cost around Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

Performance output from the second and third variants is probably going to be comparable to that of a 160cc bike and the Tork Kratos R. Both will have a powertrain installed on the frame, a sleek headlamp design, and a distinct design language. One will have handlebars that are one piece, while the other will have handlebars that clip on. The former will cost Rs 1.7 lakh, while the latter is probably going to cost Rs 1.8 lakh.
