Honda has unveiled the Honda 0 α concept electric SUV at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, marking the debut of its next-generation 0 Series EV lineup. The production model is planned for launch in Japan and India by 2027, ahead of a broader global rollout, where it will rival the Tata Curvv EV, Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE6, and MG ZS EV.

The Honda Alpha idea, which Honda markets as "Thin, Light, and Wise," is distinctly reflected in its design. The SUV's broad, upright stance lends it prominence, and its nearly vertical rear window and steeply slanted front windscreen are prominent design elements. It gets the look of MPV dimensions thanks to the strong C pillar that merges with the window line that sweeps higher toward the back and is finished with a subtly placed mof spoiler.

Design-wise, the slim headlight units perfectly border the smooth fascia up front, which includes an illuminated Hunda symbol and an integrated charging outlet. Aero-styled 19-inch, five-spoke alloys fill the flared wheel arches, while a prominent iswer bumper gives way to muscular body cladding around the sides. The vertical glass section at the back is framed by a broad U-shaped LED light strip, and the massive fake skid plate on the bumper completes the tough yet modern look.

The car’s front and rear are equipped with large, screen-like panels that incorporate a variety of functional features. Traditionally distinct parts like the charging port, headlights, and illuminated Honda emblem are all integrated into the screen area at the front. This idea is carried over to the back with a unique U-shaped lighting signature that combines the turn signal, reverse, and tail lamps. Additionally, the nearly vertical tallgate shape suggests a large luggage capacity and enhanced usefulness.
