Dongfeng Nissan unveils all-new N7 EV sedan with "Navigate on Autopilot" feature
Dongfeng Nissan today debuted the brand-new N7 electric vehicle at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou). The car is expected to go on sale in the first half of 2025 in the Chinese EV market, Autocar reported.
The N7 is the first model to be designed using Dongfeng Nissan's innovative modular architecture, specially manufactured for electric cars. Manufactured in China, the company, with its latest offering, claims to provide a stress-free driving experience, extra comfort, and intelligent technology.
The N7 EV sedan, previously previewed by the "Nissan Epoch Concept" at the Beijing Motor Show in April, is aimed at urban consumers who are interested in cutting-edge technologies. This medium-sized sedan has a sleek, futuristic appearance and reflects Nissan's recognisable V-Motion design trademark. With dimensions of 4,930 mm for length, 1,895 mm for width, and 1,487 mm for height, the N7 comes with a roomy cabin thanks to its 2,915 mm wheelbase.
Moreover, the exterior is complemented by an impressive interior design equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor-powered Infotainment system.
"Navigate on Autopilot," an advanced technology often seen in cars like Tesla will now be available in the N7. This was made possible with the collaboration of Dongfeng Nissan with Momenta, a leading Chinese company in autonomous driving technology.
To satisfy the high expectations of customers in China, Nissan's superior manufacturing is combined with vehicle intelligence technologies from reputable local partners to create the N7 in China, the report added.
Further, the report said, as part of Nissan's midterm strategy, The Arc, the new N7 sedan is the first entirely new, all-electric model to be introduced in China. With this initiative, Nissan hopes to accelerate China's new energy vehicle development and exports.
