, has revealed its growth plan until 2030. Suzuki wants to see the nation become environmentally safe by 2070, following the objective established by the Indian government. The Japanese automaker also aims to introduce six electric vehicles in India by 2030, with the first one arriving in FY24.


Despite the SMC presentation's lack of specifics on the body shapes of the future six EVs, the images presented imply the existence of a small hatchback, a small SUV in the Jimny type, three more SUV-like cars, and a crossover.


By 2030, SMC wants India to reach a 15% EV adoption rate. By 2030, internal combustion engines will account for 60% of their capacity, and hybrid electric cars for around 25%.


Suzuki would release the BEV (electric battery vehicle) in its native region of Japan in FY23 as well as in crucial regions such as Europe in FY24. Suzuki headquarters, Yokohama Lab, Suzuki R&D Center India, and Maruti Suzuki will collaborate in R&D for effective innovation by integrating the development in each sector of technological breakthroughs, modern applications, and large-scale manufacturing technologies, according to the firm.


According to a news release from Suzuki Motor Corporation, the firm will sell carbon-neutral ICE vehicles inside the Indian market that run on a mixture of CNG, biogas, and ethanol in addition to EVs to offer a comprehensive range of goods and providers.


In FY24, the Japanese auto manufacturer will release a modest to the mid-sized electric motorbike. Suzuki intends to release eight vehicles by 2030 with a 25% battery-electric vehicle proportion.
