BMW's new launch iX1 E-SUV sold out within few hours of launch
The recently introduced BMW iX1 electric SUV was completely sold out in India for the remainder of the year just a few hours after reservations began, according to the German carmaker. The iX1 would be offered in India as a fully built unit (CBU), according to a statement made by BMW. The precise quantity of iX1 SUVs that went on sale on Thursday, however, has not yet been disclosed by the firm. The iX1 electric SUV was made available by BMW in India for 66.90 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). BMW India President Vikram Pawah stated in a statement on the 'amazing response' the iX1 SUV had, "It is thrilling to have such an incredible response for the first completely electric BMW iX1.

The BMW iX1 comes equipped with the company's xDrive all-wheel-drive system and has a range of up to 440 km on a single charge. The iX1 has quick acceleration thanks to the automaker's fifth-generation eDrive technology, reaching 0-100 kmph in under 5.6 seconds. A 66.4 kWh battery pack, two electric motors—one on each axle—and an AWD technology that distributes power to all four wheels propel this electric vehicle. The electric luxury SUV has a top speed of 180 kmph, a maximum torque of 494 Nm, and a peak power of 308 horsepower.
The new BMW iX1 is outfitted with quick charging technology, which brings up the subject of range. The battery pack can be charged from 10% to 80% using a 130 kW DC fast charger in approximately 20 minutes. According to BMW, a rapid charger charge may provide a vehicle with a 120-kilometer range in just 10 minutes. The battery pack may also be fully recharged using an 11 kW AC charger in around 6.3 hours.
