BGauss introduces India’s first RUV electric scooter– RUV 350

BGauss on Thursday announced the launch of its all-new RUV 350 electric scooter. The new member of the BGauss fleet comes in 3 different variants: RUV 350i, RUV 350 EX, and RUV 350 Max. The cost of the base model begins at Rs 1.10 lakh, while the top-spec model costs Rs 1.35 lakh. BGauss's network of 120 dealerships will start accepting deliveries for the RUV350 in July.


With an electric motor of 3.5kW and a lithium-ion battery of 3kWh, the RUV 350 can reach a maximum speed of 75 kmph and can produce a peak torque of 165 Nm. Moreover, the RUV 350 EXi and RUV 350 EX versions have ranges of up to 90 km, while the top-spec model can travel up to 120 km on a single charge.


The e-scooter's suspension system consists of dual shock absorbers in the back and a telescopic fork up front, both mounted on a micro-alloy tubular frame. It has 16-inch wheels with tubeless tyres and drum brakes on both ends for braking.


The RUV 350 EX and Max models are equipped with advanced technologies including cruise control, hill-hold assist, phone alerts, a 5-inch smart TFT display, and a fall detection system.

The top-spec RUV 350 Max is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh, while the base RUV 350i is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. The mid-range RUV 350 EX is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh. Everything is priced ex-showroom.
