NDS Eco Motors: Pioneering Affordable, High-Range Electric Mobility at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

Rage anxiety is one of the biggest impediments to EV adoption. Companies in the EV industry are continuously working to solve this issue by developing electric vehicles that can travel longer on a single charge and do not need frequent charging. You will be amazed to know that NDS Eco Motors has achieved to develop a range of electric scooters that can go up to a whopping 218kms on a single charge. Yes, you read it right!

Ranging from delivery-centric electric scooters to everyday inter or intra-city commutes the NDS Eco Motors emerges as a beacon of practicality and inclusivity. Since its humble beginnings in 2015, this Bangalore-based innovator has been redefining what electric mobility means for the everyday Indian. With models like the SQD and E2C, the company is dedicated to offering a vision of sustainable transport that's both accessible and effective. As the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 approaches, NDS stands ready to showcase how they've bridged the gap between high-end electric vehicles and the needs of the mass market.

The Journey of NDS Eco Motors: From Vision to Impact

NDS Eco Motors set out with a mission to democratize electric mobility. With an authorized share capital of Rs. 95,000,000 and a paid-up capital of Rs. 55,000,000, they've claimed to develop an electric vehicle which comes with affordability without compromising on utility.

NDS Eco Motors first entered the market with its ARAI-approved model, ALFA, followed by the launch of the advanced LIO and LIO+ variants, featuring cutting-edge lithium-ion batteries. These models meet ARAI homologation standards and qualify for FAME I incentives, highlighting the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability in electric mobility.

In total, the company offers 2 electric scooters SQD and E2C in different variants. The SQD electric scooter variants come with the following specifications–

Both the SQD and E2C offerings of the company come in five variants including Pro, Pro Max, Pro Max+, Ultra+, and Ultra Max. All vehicles come equipped with BLDC Motors and a fixed battery. Ensuring safety, the SQD and E2C electric scooters feature disc brakes, twin telescopic suspension at the front and drum brake, and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

Through their "Make in India" ethos, NDS has tailored their scooters for the diverse Indian terrains, achieving sales from hundreds to thousands post-launch, proving there's a market hungry for practical electric solutions.

Leading Edge in Eco-Friendly Scooter Innovation

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is the perfect stage for NDS Eco Motors to shine. Here, they plan to unveil their latest innovations, including the company’s delivery-centric electric scooter–E2C-D which also claims a range of 218km in its Pro Max + variant. The other variants of the scooter are E2C-D Pro and E2C-D Pro Max. As per the company, the E2C-D is India’s 1st ARAI-approved electric two-wheeler scooter designed to cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly last-mile delivery solutions. The vehicle can revolutionize the delivery segment of e-commerce as we understand and may come out as a cost-saving alternative. Attendees will witness NDS's commitment to expanding their product line, with a focus on integrating even more advanced battery technology to go beyond the current range. It's not just about showcasing products; it's about demonstrating how NDS envisions a future where electric mobility is not only a luxury but a norm, both in India and potentially on the global stage.

Innovation and Sustainability: The NDS Way

At the heart of NDS's narrative is innovation tailored for the Indian context. Their innovation centre has been the crucible for developing scooters that not only fit the budget but also excel in performance. Features like regenerative braking are not just buzzwords here; they're practical solutions that extend range and promote sustainability. NDS has mastered the art of making lithium-ion batteries work within India's variable climate, ensuring their scooters are as reliable in the sweltering heat of Chennai as they are in the cooler climes of Shimla.  Their proactive approach extends to after-sales support, with a growing network of dealers and service centres across urban India, fostering trust in electric mobility by addressing one of its biggest challenges: maintenance.

The company’s E2C variant is another example of the company’s technological superiority. The multipurpose vehicle offers the following–
